The reasons behind my non disclosure of Niches and products and Pen names!

Hi Guys

I just thought I would post this quickly as there has been a lot of questions asked if I am going to reveal my products that have made me the money or my pen names for my articles. I have been advised that it would be detrimental to my business that I release this information. I understand that a lot of you have been wanting this information but please put yourself in my shoes. If you had a business that was making you a serious amount of money would you release the products that would open up the doors to an unended amount of competition?

I am all for helping all of you and there is a few things I have up my sleeve that will help you all tremendously however I will not risk my income and that of my family to wipe out all I have worked for for the last 9 months.

I will give you all the information you need to get you going in internet marketing and I will show you all how to do it step by step, I will also test other methods of free internet marketing for you and post the results. At the start of this journal If I am honest I did not think that this journal would be followed as much as it has and I am glad I have been an inspiration to a lot of you. This journal was initially setup for me to be accountable to myself and that is all. It has snowballed into something I would never have dreamed about.

All that I am asking is that you don’t hound me to jeopordise the living that I have made for me and my family. I did not mean to decieve any of you as most of you know I am an upfront guy. Generally if I say I am going to do something then I will do it. I have taken a lot of flak from people that have told me I shouldn’t be giving half of the information I have away for free but I have fended them off and kept going.

I am going to keep this blog going if only for the fact that people have a place to come to find useful and relevant information without having to shell out $100 for the priviledge of outdated information. I will continue to keep all the information I have for free and I will not go back on that whatsoever.

I do hope that you can all understand my situation and I do hope you all continue in your quest to become self sufficient with internet marketing. You all have been a true inspiration to me and I believe that together we can help each other.

Indeed, it would be totally ridiculous to divulge private information. Large corporations do not give their competitors their trade secrets so it should not be expected of internet marketers.

I am so happy to have found this journal. I only just found it but have benefited already from two tutorials that you did.

I appreciate the free help and feel that you have been more than forthcoming in your information. The truth is anyone is willing to work, he/she can follow your methods and earn some extra cash.

I wish you the best and will continue to read as you are doing are great job here!

Which is why you were told at the beginning that you should not go full disclosure but you, in your infinite wisdom decided that you would disclose all and now have gone back on it.

If you were to have said at the beginning that you were not going to be revealing certain things then people could have chosen to not follow your journal but instead you roped people into your following through pure deception.

There is nothing wrong with not disclosing your efforts but to say you were going to and then going back on yourself makes you a LIAR and you are no better than any other scam marketers out there

Hi john

I appreciate your comments and I have published them for everyone to see. You are entitled to your opinion and I think that all is fair. If I were a scammer would I not be charging people for the information that I have given out. Some people charge a lot for what you have followed. I do not believe that people have followed what I have done just to find out what niches work for me. I do not believe it is deception I believe that people have followed me to learn a bit more about marketing to allow them to integrate it into their campaigns. OK you might be a bot aggrieved that I have not revealed my niches but in all honesty would YOU?

Could you handle going from $11,000 a month to maybe 1/8th of that due to increase competition. I could handle that if the competiton done their own research and put in the hard graft to achieve it but not just by getting a hand out.

I said what I said right at the beginning of the journal and I do not think of myself as a scam marketer. Did I take any money off you and promise you the world NO I did not.

I appreciate your comments and everyone has their own opinion and in this case i think we should agree to disagree.

John I have not gone back on what I said. I have read the first part of my journal and I said right from the beginning that I would not be naming my niches. I said I might do but that was never a definate. I did say in the last 2 months of the journal I would release a full disclosure and I did that I named the products and showed you the sites and also the pen name i would be posting under I do not think I misled you in the way you believe.

Firstly, I would like to thank you for all the valuable info that you’ve provided to us.

I find your journey very inspiring but I can’t help but wonder…

Can one really make a lot of sales from Articlesbase?

You see, I’ve submitted about 2 dozen articles to AB and the number of views I received are very low in comparison to EZA and I’ve done all the backlinking stuff and what not…

I really don’t want to go back to EZA because they take 7 decades to approve my articles even though I’m a platinum member.

I love AB’s auto-approval system but several weeks after completing all the backlinking process, the views are still minimal…

Now I had a look at your articles under the Max Power pen name and I noticed that the vast majority of your articles have rather low views as well (most have less than 30 views), yet you make tons of sales…

Am I doing something wrong here?

Pete, being a successful online marketer who has seen plenty of my peers spill the beans on their success, I congratulate you on doing the right thing and not telling the world exactly how you do it.

I’ve seen too many successful guys spill their guts on a public forum or blog only to have their whole niche get blasted by 100+ rookies who ruin it for the rest.

If you want to keep making money in online marketing it’s best to keep quiet and have a low profile, at least about the specifics of sites and links and so on.

If I had the choice between being rich or famous, I’d choose rich every time.

What would you choose?

Its ok pete… If you don’t mind can you please reveal these 4 things

1.Total how many articles you wrote?
2.What was the average views per article?
3.What was the click through rate?
4.How much money you made purely from articles (without mailing list)?

I have really been enjoying reading your journal.

But it just leaves me with one question. Besides the pen name that was already mentioned here I saw one of your other names and it too had only a handful of views (the highest being a couple of hundred).

How are you able to convert such low views into such a large number of sales?

Stop looking for god damn handouts, do your own product research, and get off pete’s nuts, he’s worked harder in the last 9 months than you have your entire life. Well done Pete. You have inspired hundreds of internet marketers to get out there and really build a solid internet business. No matter what you do people will both love and hate you. Its part of being successful. At the end of the day you have a successful business so do what most successful people do…ignore the ignorant people and continue building your empire.

I don’t think it is the right pen name you are looking at. I have a lot of articles that are getting views into the 10s of thousands. Also a lot of the products I promote convert at about 1 in 23. so I only need a couple of hundred hops a day to make it a good day.

Hi Mike

No problems here goes this is off the top of my head but if you want I can post back later with a more exact number –

1. roughly about 1400
2. The average will work around the 4000 mark
3. CTR is very hard to work out with articles base and I really wouldn’t want to take a guess at it.
4. The majority of the money has come from articles the mailing lists are just starting to improve so I haven’t really used that.

The Max Power pen name is just one of several that I have out there. Max Power was set up for people to follow along but other things took its toll on me and I didn’t really concentrate on this. I am going to change them a bout a bit anyway and see If I can monetize that pen name more.

Pete, I completely understand that you wouldn’t want to release the info, it does make sense.

One thing I will ask though, is can you help me with figuring out a good niche that can work with PPC, and how to setup a good lander? Well I mean, point me in the direction of something if you have talked about this before, but I know you’re busy now.

Hi Mike

Generally about 95% of the traffic comes from search engines. On some niches Yahoo outperforms google. The main thing is to get your article found on all the search engines but mainly google. I have a few articles that have over 30,000 views and the majority of traffic comes from google the other hits are not even worth counting but I suppose they all add up.

That all depends on the keyword I am going after. If it is a high competiton keyword I will backlink until I get on the spot I want. If it is a low competition keyword then about 15 – 20 should get the top spot as long as they are good links.

Thanks. I know one niche that does extremely well with PPC as I am testing it at the moment. So far it is converting like no business, So far for every $30 spent you get $130 back. I am continuing to test with PPC and with bum marketing so stay tuned and I will release all the details soon.

With Regards to the BL software. I am very wary about releasing this. I coded this for me only to relieve a bit of pressure on the article submitting. I would not like to release this as it will open up all the bashing that I have been getting from DP and in this Blog that I only started this to exploit people which I didn’t! that is why I am reluctant to release this.
